Our hearts are heavy with the news that our past president, Shelley Pruitt, passed this week. Our thoughts are with her family.

Her funeral is Wednesday, March 27th at 2pm at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Shelley was the consummate leader, embodying the essence of service-before-self. A connector. An instigator. An inspiration. She has left an indelible mark on our organization and on downtown Oklahoma City. One could only hope for a legacy as enduring as hers in life. She will be missed by all.

Streetcar Construction Tracking

Neighbors, it’s an exciting time in Downtown OKC with the streetcar construction underway. Your UN representatives attended the Downtown BID (business improvement district) Board meeting last week, and we learned that by this time next year (April 2018, construction delays notwithstanding), you’ll see streetcar vehicles making test runs on the Bricktown loop. We also learned that the city is providing an excellent way get weekly updates on construction progress. If you’d like to know exactly when roads will be closed, sign up for this mailing list to get those updates and plan your daily commute around that pesky traffic!

Welcome to YOUR neighborhood!
