Neighbors, it’s an exciting time in Downtown OKC with the streetcar construction underway. Your UN representatives attended the Downtown BID (business improvement district) Board meeting last week, and we learned that by this time next year (April 2018, construction delays notwithstanding), you’ll see streetcar vehicles making test runs on the Bricktown loop. We also learned that the city is providing an excellent way get weekly updates on construction progress. If you’d like to know exactly when roads will be closed, sign up for this mailing list to get those updates and plan your daily commute around that pesky traffic!
Urban Neighbors members have been invited to the “Back in Business at the Brick” event at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Thursday, March 30th!
If interested, please RSVP by Monday to email@example.com .
Also, don’t miss the OKC Dodgers Fan Fest this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Unfortunately, due to low interest, we’re having to cancel this event. We hope to try again in the future if there is sufficient interest. All who paid will receive refunds shortly.
Congrats to Sara Kaplan, Urban Neighbors President, for making the okc.biz 40 Under 40 Class of 2016!
