July Social Speakers: Twisted Spike and the Oklahoma City Action Center

Thanks to those that joined us at Twisted Spike last night, we had a good turnout. Bruce and Donna Sanchez, owners, were our first speakers, and told the story of how they came to be. Watch the video here:

We also had the manager of OKC’s Action Center in attendance, to inform us all about the various ways our neighbors can benefit from using the service. Here’s the video:

June Social at Manhattan

Join your neighbors as we visit downtown’s newest neighborhood bar, the Manhattan, located “under the raven” (210 Park Avenue, Suite 150) in the central business district. Complimentary refreshments and cash bar will be provided. Our speaker this month will be Kelley Barnes from the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

May Social Speakers: Anna Mains and OKC Volunteers

We had an excellent turnout at the May social, nearly 30 people! Thanks to all that came, but in particular thanks to our speakers. Anna Mains, owner of Dekora, talked about her vision and the origins of the Dekora brand. It was very informative! Watch the video below.

Also, Cayla Lewis, Executive Director of the Plaza District, introduced us to her new initiative, OKC Volunteers.

If you’d like to get more involved with getting involved, find OKC Volunteers on Facebook and Twitter, but most importantly, subscribe to their mailing list to get updates on volunteering opportunities near you!

March Social at Revolucion

Join your neighbors along our western boundary in the up-and-coming SoSA neighborhood of OKC at ┬íRevoluci├│n! Taqueria & Cantina — a taco and tequila focused, high-energy, late-night eats & drinks destination.

Driven by authentic Mexican ingredients and preparation methods, the concept thrives on innovative, playful cocktails around the 24-seat island bar and the perfect party-style patio to imbibe and indulge ’til your heart’s content.

If you haven’t visited UNTITLED recently, you should consider not only revisiting, but returning regularly given the number of programs they have, and this is not even to mention their new retail space, [HIVE] at UNTITLED.
