This month we’re trying something new, neighbors, please join us!
We will meet at the Midtown streetcar stop (across the street from Fassler Hall) at 5:30pm for those who would like to ride the Streetcar. We’ll have FREE passes for up to 30 people. We will ride all the way through Bricktown while pointing out the Downtown in December attractions as we pass them.
We will arrive at the Santa Fe stop (on Reno just before leaving Bricktown) around 6pm and walk to Scissortail Gifts. If people are running late, they can opt to meet us at Scissortail Gifts instead.
Scissortail Gifts is just under the railroad bridge next to Pinkitzel Cupcakes. They have graciously offered to host us at their place. They will be serving MIO (Made in Oklahoma) snacks from their store, as well as red wine. They have local gifts and are offering a 10% discount on all of their items for us that evening.
After socializing, shopping, and hearing from our speaker (Ward 6 Councilperson JoBeth Hamon), we will get back on the streetcar around 6:45pm and ride through the beautiful Lights on Broadway display on our way back up to the Hudson streetcar stop. We will then walk to the Holiday Pop-Up Shops in Midtown to continue local shopping (optional).
